Christine Petrovcic, Registered Professional Biologist, has more than 25 years of experience in natural resource management, conservation, and environmental planning in British Columbia. Her career has spanned senior leadership roles in provincial government, forest industry, and environmental consulting, where she has led complex initiatives involving wildlife management, policy development, operational planning, and cross-sector collaboration.

Currently serving as a Director of Provincial Priorities for the North Area with the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship, Christine provides leadership on provincial conservation priorities, strategic planning, funding oversight, and executive decision support. She has experience working with Indigenous Nations, federal and provincial governments, industry, Non-Government Organizations, and local communities to advance practical and collaborative solutions to environmental and resource management challenges.

Christine is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills, and ability to build respectful and productive relationships across diverse groups and interests. She is looking forward to serving as a board member with the Nechako Environmental Enhancement Fund.
